The World Duchenne Organization (WDO) is a global umbrella patient organization representing national Duchenne and Becker muscular dystrophy associations worldwide. It focuses on improving care, research, education, and advocacy for people living with Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) and Becker muscular dystrophy (BMD).

WDO acts as a bridge between countries, clinicians, researchers, and patient organisations. Its work is centered on reducing global inequality in Duchenne care and accelerating progress toward treatments and, ultimately, a cure.
