Hypermobility Syndromes Association

Description

The Hypermobility Syndromes Association (HMSA) is the UK charity for people affected by heritable hypermobility-related conditions, including hypermobility spectrum disorder (HSD), hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (hEDS), and related multi-systemic hypermobility conditions — estimated to affect up to 1 in 5 of the UK population at some level. HMSA provides peer support, produces educational materials for healthcare professionals, and runs multidisciplinary clinician training to improve diagnosis and management across the NHS. The charity funds research at leading UK hypermobility centres and advocates for improved access to specialist pain and rehabilitation services.
